It can also synchronize the user's Safari bookmarks with .Mac.
Starting with Mac OS X v10.4, much of the syncing functionality has been moved into a framework that developers can use to incorporate syncing into their own applications. However, iSync remains for synchronizing with external devices.
The current version of iSync is 2.2 and does not support SyncML over HTTP.
