Jarnsaxa

In Norse mythology, Járnsaxa is a giantess. According to Snorri Sturluson's Prose Edda, she was Thor's lover. By him she was the mother of Magni. According to the Hyndluljóð, Járnsaxa is the name of one of the mothers of Heimdallr. The name Járnsaxa means "iron knife".
