Jarrell, Texas

Jarrell is a town located in Williamson County, Texas. It is situated about 15 miles north of Georgetown, Texas and about 40 miles north of Austin. According to the 2000 census, the population is 3,088.

On May 27, 1997, the town suffered from the destructive Jarrell Tornado, which destroyed the Double Creek Estates subdivision.

Jarrell is located at geographical coordinates 30° 49′ 29″ N 97° 36′ 16″ W (30.824600, -97.604393).
