Jay Ingram

Jay Ingram is a host of the television show Daily Planet (originally titled @discovery.ca) since 1994 which airs on Discovery Channel Canada.
Ingram also hosted the science program Quirks and Quarks on CBC Radio One from 1979 to 1992. (The show continues to air today; its current host is Bob McDonald.) During this period he won two ACTRA Awards for the category of Best Host.
Jay Ingram is the author of several bestsellers including "Talk, Talk, Talk"; "The Science of Everyday Life"; "The Velocity of Honey"; and "The Burning House", which won the 1995 Canadian Science Writers Book Award. Jay's most recent popular science book is titled "Theatre of the Mind". It was published by Harper Collins in October of 2005.
