Jeff Ament

Jeff Ament (born March 10, 1963) has been the bassist for the rock bands Deranged Diction, Green River, Mother Love Bone, and Temple of the Dog. He is currently bassist for Pearl Jam. He has also played in a side project called Three Fish.
Ament was born in Havre, Montana. He is known among bass players for his tasteful fretless, stand up bass, and twelve-string bass guitar work.
With his brother Barry Ament, Jeff runs Ames Bros, an art production company that produces many Pearl Jam tour posters and fan club newsletters.
Jeff currently lives in Missoula, Montana.
