Joe English

Joe English is a musician who played drums in Paul McCartney's band Wings and in the Southern Rock/Jazz group Sea Level, among others. He was also the lead singer and drummer for The English Band in 1985. His solo projects include "Press On" (Myrrh, 1983), "What You Need" (Myrrh, 1985), and "English 101: Back to Basics" (Refuge, 1987).
Joe English Band toured the world, playing with other major bands of the era, Petra, DeGarmo & Key, Servant, etc. Joe's band included John Lawry, who left to play for Petra (band) in 1984.
