Johnny Nash

John Lester Nash Jr. (born August 19, 1940) is an American pop singer best known for his 1972 hit "I Can See Clearly Now".
Born in Houston, Texas Nash began as a pop singer in the 1950s. He became famous for singing the theme song for "The Mighty Hercules" cartoon. His biggest hit was "I Can See Clearly Now" in 1972. He was an early supporter of then unknown reggae star Bob Marley and recorded his song "Stir It Up" in 1972.
He was last active as a composer in the Swedish romance Vill så gärna tro 1971 in which he portrayed Robert.
