Kalmthout

Kalmthout is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Kalmthout proper. On January 1 2006 Kalmthout had a total population of 17,486. The total area is 59.45 km². Kalmthout has a population density of 293.37 inhabitants per km².

The [Arboretum Kalmthout] is one of Belgium's most beautiful botanical gardens. The Kalmthoutse Heide is a nature reserve of nearly 10,000 acres crossing the border between Belgium and the Netherlands.
