Brooks & Dunn are a country music singer/songwriter duo, one of the most successful in the history of country music. They debuted in 1991 and have since won the Vocal Duo Award of the Country Music Association nearly every year (1992 through 2005 except 2000), as well as CMA Album of the Year for 1994 and Entertainer of the Year for 1996. As of 2004, the duo had won 19 CMA awards[1]. Image:Brooksdunn.jpg They are prominent players of line dance music. One of their hits is the line-dancing song "Boot Scootin' Boogie"; The video for this song was made in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

  • Kix Brooks - who was born Leon Eric Brooks in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 12, 1955. By 2000, he had won 6 BMI awards. As of January 2006, Kix Brooks is the new host of the ACC Top 40, a well known syndicated radio program formerly hosted by Bob Kingsley.
