Knut

From Free net encyclopedia

Knut can mean the following:

  • a bronze coin used in the Harry Potter novels, see Money in Harry Potter.
  • a Scandinavian first name, of which the anglicized form is Canute.
  • Knut (band), a band that helped start the musical genre of mathcore.
  • an Edwardian English slang word meaning an idle upper-class man-about-town.

The word Knut is also used informally as a politer and more acceptable version of the word cunt, i.e. a "stupid knut", as an adaptation similar to the word pr0n, albeit not for the purpose of defeating Web content filters or moderators.
