List of Asturian monarchs

This is a list of the rulers of the Kingdom of Asturias. While their existence and dates seem plausible, further verifiable details about their reigns are often scarce, especially for the early ones.
- Pelayo (718–737)
- Favila (737–739), also spelled Favilac or Fáfila
- Alfonso I (739–757), called the Catholic
- Fruela I (757–768)
- Aurelio (768–774)
- Silo (774–783)
- Mauregato the Usurper (783–788)
- Bermudo I (788–791), also spelled Vermudo or Veremund, called the Deacon
- Alfonso II (791–842), called the Chaste
- Ramiro I (842–850)
- Ordoño I (850–866)
During the reign of Ordoño I, the kingdom of Asturias progressively came to be known as the kingdom of León. The kingdom was split in 910 and Fruela received the part which kept the name of Asturias.
