Magog

- Gog and Magog are an ambiguous Biblical pair associated with apocalyptic prophecy. Magog is one of the seven sons of Japheth mentioned in the Book of Genesis. Gog and Magog are also mentioned in the Qur'an as Yajooj (Gog) and Majooj (Magog).
- In Milesian ancestral traditions, Magog is the father of Baath, Jobhath and Fathochta; he is identified with the above.
- In British traditions, Magog is associated with London. There used to be a statue of Magog in England, but it was destroyed in WWII during the Blitz.
- The Magog are a fictional race in the television series Andromeda.
- Magog, Quebec is a town in Canada.
- Magog is a cyborg anti-hero in DC Comics's Kingdom Come miniseries. He is an amalgamation of the Biblical Golden Calf and Marvel Comics' Cable.
- Gog and Magog are a focal point of Madeleine L'Engle's novel A Swiftly Tilting Planet.
- Gog and Magog are also nicknames given to members in the Skull and Bones secret society.
- The Magog Cartel is an industrial corporation in the Oddworld videogame series.
