Manuel Oribe

Image:Manuel Oribe.jpg Manuel Oribe (26 August 1792 - 12 November 1857) was a Uruguayan political figure. He served as President of Uruguay between 1835 and 1838. He was a big supporter of Juan Manuel de Rosas in Argentina, who in turn supported him.
