Template:Cleanup-date Matthew Langford Perry (born August 19, 1969) is an American-Canadian actor, most famous for playing the role of Chandler Bing on the American television sitcom Friends (1994-2004). Perry has also guest starred in Ally McBeal, The West Wing, Scrubs, and has lent his voice to The Simpsons. He has also appeared on Punk'd.

Matthew Perry was born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, USA, but grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. His father is character actor John Bennett Perry (b. January 4, 1941) and his mother is Suzanne Perry Morrison (who had been a press secretary for Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau). His parents divorced and both remarried. His stepfather is Canadian-trained NBC newscaster Keith Morrison and his stepmother is Debbie Perry. He has four half-sisters and one half-brother. Younger half-sister, Caitlin Morrison, younger half-sister, Emily Morrison, one younger half-brother, Willy Morrison, younger half-sister, Madeleine Morrison and younger half-sister, Marie Perry. Matthew attended Rockcliffe Park Public School and Ashbury College, both in Ottawa.
