Max Goof

Image:Maxpj1.jpg Maximilian "Max" Goof is a fictional character who is the teenage son of the popular Disney character Goofy. He first appeared in the 1992 television series Goof Troop. There is no direct evidence to suggest that Max is a retconned version of the red-headed "Goofy, Jr." from a series of 1950's Disney cartoons.
Max also stars in Goof Troop's spin-off movie A Goofy Movie (1995) and its direct-to-video sequel An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000); the direct-to-video Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas (1999) and its sequel Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas (2004); and the 2001 TV series House of Mouse (as a parking valet).
An interesting quirk about Max is that, while most of Disney's flagship characters never seem to get any older, Max appears to go through various ages in whatever he appears in. First shown as a six-year-old in the Geef shorts, he was depicted as an eleven-year-old in Goof Troop, then a teenager in A Goofy Movie and House of Mouse, and most recently, in An Extremely Goofy Movie and House of Mouse, a young adult.
In the Goof Troop TV series, Max is voiced by Dana Hill. Jason Marsden voices an older Max in all appearances after and including A Goofy Movie. Shaun Fleming voices young Max in Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas.
