Michael Misick

Template:Politics of Turks and Caicos Michael Eugene Misick (born February 2, 1966) has been the chief minister of the Turks and Caicos Islands since August 15, 2003. He is a member of the conservative Progressive National Party and became chief minister when his party, after eight years as the opposition party, gained two parliamentary seats in by-elections. Several other members of Misick's family have been politicians in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and important leaders in the PNP. He became engaged to actress LisaRaye McCoy in July of 2005. Originally planning to wed in December 2005, it was postponed. They were married on April 8, 2006.
