Michael Harrison Sweet (born 4 July 1963) is a Christian rock singer from the United States. Sweet is best known as co-founder and frontman of Christian metal band Stryper.

His voice has a range of about 3 and a half octaves. He began his musical career at age 5 playing guitar and at age 12 he began to sing. Michael also plays drums, piano and bass guitar.

After 11 years as frontman of Stryper, Sweet decided to quit the band in 1992 in order to pursue a solo career. His self-titled debut album was released in 1994, followed by Real in 1996 and Truth in 2000. In the years 2000-2001, Michael reunited with the other members of Stryper to play the Stryper Expo in Parsippany New Jersey.

In 2003, Stryper reunited after the release of Seven and, as of 2005, are still touring. Sweet's solo career has been put on hold.
