Moon Over the Brewery is a play written by Bruce Graham, often compared to sitcom drama, as well as another of his plays, Desperate Affection, concerning a family's daily life.
13-year-old Amanda, troubled by her mother (Miriam)'s new admirer: Warren (a postman who lives near a brewery, thus the title). Amanda is an intelligent girl who has regressed to the point where she has subconsciously caused her imaginary friend, Randolph, to reappear. Miriam, a waitress and moonscape painter who is somewhat unable to cope with the realities of her daily life, is also writing a play herself.
