Mox (TimeSplitters)

In the TimeSplitters video game series the Mox are an alien race that inhabit Planet X and are divided into clans which seem to be forever at war. They are a humanoid race with heads similar to that of an octopus. Their skin has been observed to be a variety of colors.
Planet X is a distant planet in another Galaxy, home to the dreaded aliens, who in the year 2020 kidnapped one of Earth's chief scientists, The Brain in a Jar, who was later recovered by a squad of space marines led by Sebastian Photon and Angel Perez.
The TimeSplitters tricked the Mox into making spaceships to conquer our Galaxy. The Mox started to attack Earth as soon as the first ships were ready. Captain Hank Nova and Candi Skyler, both members of Starfleet, were shot down by the Mox, and stranded on the planet. They both had to fight countless Ozor and Meezor Mox, and they tricked some Mox into fighting each other, restarting the Mox civil war. They both escaped from the planet, saving Earth as the Mox battled each other to extinction.
Several years later, the Ozor and Meezor were all dead, but out of there underground tunnels came a new Clan, the Koozer. They quickly took over Planet X and raided Earth several times, until they made peace with Earth. From this point in time, no one is sure how long the peace with the Mox will last.
The Mox only appear in the Arcade and Challenge modes of TimeSplitters 3, they have no role in the story of the concluding chapter.
