Mystery Writers of America

The organization was founded in 1945 by Clayton Rawson, Anthony Boucher, Lawrence Treat, and Brett Halliday in New York.
They present the Edgar Award, a small bust of Edgar Allan Poe, every year.
Their headquarters is located at 17 East 47th Street, 6th floor, New York NY 10017.
