Nanci Chambers

Nanci Chambers (a Canadian-American actress who was born on October 1, 1963 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada) is best known for her role as the scheming villain Lieutenant "Loren Singer" on the popular television series JAG. Ms. Chambers is married to David James Elliott who is also the star of JAG. They have both become U.S. citizens, and have a daughter and son.
Fans of the series consider Singer one of the most loathsome television characters since "J.R. Ewing" on Dallas. Chambers' portrayal of the character as a monster is highly regarded. It has been pointed out that one of the most chilling things about Singer is that she is a very intelligent and diabolical sociopath without a conscience. To prepare for the role, Chambers actually talked with FBI profilers about the sociopathic mind.
