Nephilim (Avernum)

Nephilim are cat-like people in the Avernum and Exile computer role-playing game series by Spiderweb Software. They are related to the Nepharim, a larger, yet sterile cat-like race.
It's mentioned more than once in the series that Humans and Nephilim co-evolved on the surface (in contrast to the Slithzerikai who are natively from Exile), and that Nephilim had been relatively common before the Empire's genocide.
