Nicollet is a city located in Nicollet County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 889.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there were 889 people, 344 households, and 241 families residing in the city. The population density was 390.1/km² (1,008.2/mi²). There were 350 housing units at an average density of 153.6/km² (396.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.20% White, 0.11% African American, 0.34% Native American, 0.34% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.01% from two or more races. 0.90% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 344 households out of which 36.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.1% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.9% were non-families. 25.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 3.12.
In the city the population was spread out with 28.1% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 31.4% from 25 to 44, 21.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 104.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.9 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $42,500, and the median income for a family was $51,563. Males had a median income of $34,722 versus $22,500 for females.
