Old World Wisconsin, America's largest outdoor museum of rural life, is located in Wisconsin, 35 miles (56 km) south west of Milwaukee, in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, near the village of Eagle. Farmsteads and settlements representing German, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, Polish, Yankee, and African-American pioneers are present. The museum encompasses nearly 600 acres (2.4 km²) of rolling wooded hills.
