In Inuit mythology, Pinga ("the one who is up on high") was a goddess of the hunt, fertility and medicine. She was also the psychopomp, bringing souls of the newly-dead to Adlivun, the underworld.

Other uses
In the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, the vulgar name used for the penis, bicho grande, bolas grandes.
In Brazil, the name used for a spirit distilled from sugarcane molasses which, unlike rum, is not aged.
