Piper PA-14 Family Cruiser

From Free net encyclopedia

The Piper PA-14 Family Cruiser is a small touring aircraft first flown in March 1947, a development of the earlier PA-12 Super Cruiser. It was launched at a time of serious financial difficulty for the company, and indeed, soon after the release of the Family Cruiser, Piper was placed in receivership.

The PA-14 was in production for less than a year before being superseded by a more refined version of the same design, the PA-15 Vagabond.
