Polynesian Airlines

Polynesian Airlines is the national airline of Samoa and is based in Apia, the Samoan capital city. It has been announced that from October 2005, Polynesian Airlines will become a domestic airline, and the international routes and jet aircraft will be taken over by a new airline Polynesian Blue, owned 49% by the Samoan Government, 49% by Virgin Blue and 2% by other Samoan interests.

It flies to eight international destinations: Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, Nadi in Fiji, Pago Pago in American Samoa, Honolulu and Los Angeles in the United States on a code share basis with Air New Zealand.
