Powers is a village located in Menominee County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 430.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there were 430 people, 124 households, and 59 families residing in the village. The population density was 167.7/km² (433.8/mi²). There were 146 housing units at an average density of 56.9/km² (147.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.67% White, 0.00% African American, 0.47% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.86% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 124 households out of which 14.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.3% were married couples living together, 5.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 52.4% were non-families. 45.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 28.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.08 and the average family size was 2.85.
In the village the population was spread out with 9.5% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 13.7% from 25 to 44, 16.7% from 45 to 64, and 54.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 68 years. For every 100 females there were 62.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 60.1 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $20,250, and the median income for a family was $36,250. Males had a median income of $25,000 versus $20,625 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,207. 17.9% of the population and 14.6% of families were below the poverty line. 19.0% of those under the age of 18 and 24.2% of those 65 and older were living below the poverty line.
