From Free net encyclopedia

Pras (born Samuel Prakazrel Michel on October 19, 1972, in Haiti) offered up his first solo effort, Ghetto Supastar, in the fall of 1998, following in the footsteps of his fellow Fugees Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill. Released on Ruffhouse Records, the album's title track "Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)" featured vocals by Mya and Ol' Dirty Bastard. He recently came out with a new album titled Win Lose or Draw and has released a new single, "Haven't Found".

Pras has showcased a unique musical sound that blends elements of rock, R&B, and modern Hip-Hop.

In 2005, the Fugees (Pras, Wyclef Jean, and Lauryn Hill) announced that the reunification of the Fugees to release the album Take it Easy, to be released in 2006. The album's first single, also titled "Take it Easy", has already been released and is also featured in Verizon Wireless V Cast commercials.

Pras is referred to as "Dirty-Cash" and "Praswell" in many of his songs, especially with the Fugees.
