Recovery Is Possible

Recovery Is Possible (RIP) is a small, specialized Linux distribution, commonly known as a business card distro, that includes a large number of tools to assist in recovering data from Windows and Linux x86 based systems. The tools attempt recovery from a number of filesystems including FAT, NTFS, Ext2 and ReiserFS. Utilities to resize and image-copy disk partitions are included.

The current version of RIP is 15.0 (March 20, 2006).
