Reda

Reda (Kashubian/Pomeranian: Réda) is a town on the Reda river in Kashubia or Eastern Pomerania region, north-western Poland with some 17,000 inhabitants. Situated in the Wejherowo County in Pomeranian Voivodship since 1999, previously in Gdansk Voivodship (1975-1998).

It is connected by well developed railway and highway connections to the Tricity, over 1 million aglomeration on the coast of Gdansk Bay.

Transportation

Image:REDA 5 1 ubt.jpeg Reda is well connected through 4 lane highway, that lead from Wejherowo to Gdynia and from there by Circle Highway to Gdansk. There is a plan to extend Circle Highway from Gdynia to beyond Wejherowo.

In Reda there are two stops of the SKM (fast city railway), that connects Lebork-Wejherowo-Reda-Gdynia-Sopot-Gdansk-Tczew, which are Reda railway station and Reda Pieleszewo stop.

You will find in Reda also Reda Rekowo railway station operated by PKP. Railway station Reda Rekowo is servicing connections to Hel. (Town of Hel)

There is network of city buses that goes directly to Gdynia and Gdynia-Dabrowa.

1982-1999 Population of Reda has grown 3 fold.
