- One of the best known ridgeways is the Ridgeway National Trail, also known as The Ridgeway Path, which runs across southwestern England, along the chalk escarpment,connecting various archaeological sites, notably Wayland's Smithy and the Uffington White Horse.
- The Ridgeway, running through Enfield is a road along the southmost extent of the glaciers in the last ice age.
