Robotech Wars

In the fictional world of Robotech, the Robotech Wars are a series of devastating wars through the first half of the 21st century. It can also refer to that time as a period of (fictional) history, beginning in 1999 with the crashlanding of the SDF-1 and ending in 2044 with the Invid retreat from Earth.
Timeline of the Robotech Wars:

| 1999 - 2009 : | Pre-war period. Recovery and reconstruction of the SDF-1 and primary research and development of Robotechnology occur during this period. |
| 2009 - 2012 : | First Robotech War (Robotech Defense Force against the Zentraedi) |
| 2012 - 2014 : | Reconstruction |
| 2014 | The Battle of New Macross City |
| 2014 - 2016 : | First Interbellum |
| 2016 - 2019 : | Malcontent Uprisings (a rebellion of full-sized Zentraedi malcontents) |
| 2019 - 2029 : | Second Interbellum (sometimes considered part of the first interbellum, since the Malcontent Uprisings are not a war in the same way as the major Robotech Wars of the period) |
| 2029 - 2030 : | Second Robotech War (Army of the Southern Cross against the Robotech Masters) |
| 2030 - 2031 : | Third Interbellum |
