Rochester Raging Rhinos

Template:Football club infobox The Rochester Raging Rhinos are a USL First Division professional soccer team in Rochester, New York. The team was founded in 1996 in the old A-League which would eventually merge with the USL. The Rhinos currently play in Frontier Field but they will play in PAETEC Park, a soccer-specific stadium in 2006.

The Rhinos have prided themselves on upholding a high state of excellence over their ten year history. The team has reached the championship game five times (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001). The Rhinos have been league champions three times (1998, 2000, 2001).

They won the US Open Cup in 1999, becoming the only non-Major League Soccer team to win it since MLS began in 1996. Despite playing in a lower-level league, the Rhinos defeated four MLS teams on their way to the Open Cup championship.
