Rosemère, Quebec

Rosemère is a town in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the Rivière des Mille-Îles in the Regional County Municipality of Thérèse-de-Blainville.

According to the 2001 Statistics Canada Census:

  • Population: 13,391
  • % Change (1996-2001): 11.4
  • Dwellings: 4,659
  • Area (sq. km.): 10.77
  • Density (persons per sq. km.): 1243.0

Rosemère has a large english-speaking minority. There are bilingual stop signs, a very rare feature in Quebec. To serve the anglophones, there are two English schools:

  • McCaig Elementary
  • Rosemère High is the only English High school in the town

West: Boisbriand
Rosemère East: Lorraine
South: Laval
