Rowan Software

Rowan Software was a British computer game developer founded by Rod Hyde in 1987, in Runcorn, Cheshire, from H&H Software. Several members of Rowan's staff,= including Martin Kenwright went on to form Digital Image Design.

It main early publisher was Mirrorsoft. It ported product to Atari ST, Commodore Amiga and PCW 8256.

Rowan developed Strike Force Harrier, Flying Corps, Flight of the Intruder and other flight simulators. It ported F-16 Fighting Falcon to the Atari ST and Commodore Amiga for Spectrum Holobyte.

Rowan eventually became part of Empire Interactive and then became Strangelite.
