Samuel Elmo Martin

Samuel Elmo Martin (born 1924) is a former professor of Far Eastern Languages at Yale University and an author of books on the Korean and Japanese languages. He also developed the Yale romanization system for transliterating Korean, which is extensively used by linguists.
