Savage Poetry, released in 1995 (see 1995 in music), is the first album by the power metal band Edguy. Originally a demo tape, it was re-recorded by the band in the year 2000 under the name The Savage Poetry, containing both the new and the demo content.

Because Savage Poetry dates back to when lead singer Tobias Sammet was 16 years old, the songwriting is rather different from Edguy's later releases.

The album cover of Savage Poetry is the last released to feature the heavily-skewed Edguy logo. When re-recorded and re-released in 2000, a new album cover was issued, featuring artwork comparable to Edguy's previous album, Theater of Salvation (1999).
