  • Scum, a 1987 album by grindcore band Napalm Death.
  • The SCUM manifesto, a 1968 radical feminist book by Valerie Solanas.
  • SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion), scripting language developed at LucasArts to ease development of the graphical adventure game Maniac Mansion.

  • The topmost liquid layer of a septic tank. Some would consider this layer "frothy"
  • A derogatory term used by students of Cambridge University to refer to students of Oxford University, although it is less common than the equivalent term at Oxford, "Tab".
  • Originally coined from the Southampton Company of Union Men. Nowdays it used as a derogatory term to describe the fans and supporters of Portsmouth FC.
