Seabrook is a census-designated place and village located in the town of Mashpee in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 477.
Geography
Seabrook is located at 41°34'55" North, 70°29'55" West (41.582070, -70.498618)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²). 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 477 people, 187 households, and 154 families residing in the village. The population density was 497.8/km² (1,300.6/mi²). There were 229 housing units at an average density of 239.0/km² (624.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.58% White, 0.21% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.21% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 187 households out of which 25.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.3% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.6% were non-families. 14.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 2.76.
