Sega Smash Pack is a series of Sega Genesis compilations. Sega Smash Pack games have been released for the PC, Sega Dreamcast, and the Game Boy Advance.

PC

The first Sega Smash Pack was released in 1999 for the PC. It featured eight games: Altered Beast, Columns, Golden Axe, Out Run, Phantasy Star II, Sonic Spinball, Super Shinobi and Vectorman.

The second Sega Smash Pack, known as Sega Smash Pack 2, was another PC game and was released in 2000. It featured eight games: Comix Zone, Flicky, Kid Chameleon, Sega Swirl, Shining Force, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Super Hang-On, and Vectorman 2.

In 2002, Sega Smash Pack: Twin Pack was released on PC, and it contained both of the above collections. In this version, Sega Smash Pack had a bug that deleted its own games, but the bug could be fixed by making the "KVQ" files read-only.

Sega Dreamcast

The third Sega Smash Pack was released for the Dreamcast in 2001. It was called Sega Smash Pack Volume 1 and featured twelve games, although seven of them had been included in previous Smash Packs. These games were Altered Beast, Columns, Golden Axe, Phantasy Star II, Sega Swirl, Shining Force, and Vectorman. The five games new to the Smash Pack compilations were Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage 2, Virtua Cop 2, and Wrestle War.

Game Boy Advance

The fourth and most recent Sega Smash Pack, simply called Sega Smash Pack, was released in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance. It featured three games, two of which had been in previous Smash Packs. These two games were Golden Axe and Sonic Spinball, and the third game was Ecco the Dolphin.
