Senses Fail

From Free net encyclopedia

Template:Infobox band Senses Fail is a Ridgewood, New Jersey based screamo-pop rock band that draws heavily from the punk, emo, and hardcore genres. Some make the mistake of terming their music "screamo" which is a genre of music that died off in the late 90s. Their main influences are Taking Back Sunday and Underoath. The band is influenced by many spiritual beliefs, which manifest themselves in their lyrics and musical themes.

They released their first EP, From the Depths of Dreams on August 12 2002 on ECA Records, followed by a re-release on April 29 2003 on Drive-Thru Records. Their first proper album, Let It Enfold You, was released on September 7, 2004 on Vagrant Records. It too was re-released with five bonus tracks, including three acoustic versions of songs on "Let It Enfold You".

In recent MySpace bulletins posted by them on April 4th, 2006, they mentioned that they have begun pre-production on their next album. And that they will be going into the studio to begin recording on April 21st, with hopes of a late Summer or early Fall release. Their second album has yet to be titled.
