Side-blotched lizard

Side-blotched lizards are lizards of the genus Uta. They are some of the most abundant and commonly observed lizards in the deserts of western North America.

Genus Uta
- Ancient side-blotched lizard, Uta concinna
- Enchanted side-blotched lizard, Uta encantadae (sometimes considered a subspecies of U. stansburiana)
- El Muerto Island side-blotched lizard, Uta lowei (sometimes considered a subspecies of U. stansburiana)
- Ornate side-blotched lizard, Uta mannophora (doubtful species)
- San Pedro Nolasco side-blotched lizard, Uta nolascensis
- San Pedro Martir side-blotched lizard, Uta palmeri
- Common side-blotched lizard, Uta stansburiana Conservation status: Secure
- Eastern side-blotched lizard, Uta stejnegeri (previously considered a subspecies of U. stansburiana) Conservation status: Secure
- Swollen-nosed side-blotched lizard, Uta tumidarostra (sometimes considered a subspecies of U. stansburiana)
- Angel de la Guarda side-blotched lizard (undescribed species)
Uta antiqua, U. squamata and U. stellata are nowadays usually considered subspecies of U. stansburiana, but this may not be correct for antiqua and possibly squamata.
