Sienar Fleet Systems

Sienar Fleet Systems (owned by the Santhe/Sienar Technologies supercorporation) is a major starship manufacturer from the fictional Star Wars universe.
Sienar Fleet Systems (SFS), along with Kuat Drive Yards, is a supplier of military vessels for the Galactic Empire. However, while KDY supplied the Empire's massive Star Destroyer fleet, SFS supplied the small, yet deadly TIE fighters. Throughout the Empire's rule, SFS produced massive amounts of the craft and also made several TIE variants, along with the Interdictor Cruiser. SFS was also accused of constructing Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator, but Raith Sienar, the CEO of SFS, denied connection to the craft. While he denied connection, there was evidence that the Sith ship was linked to him and Sienar Design Systems; the design of the command pod later showed up in the TIE fighter series.
SFS, originally Republic Sienar Systems, was founded over 15 millennia before the Battle of Yavin by the wealthy Sienar family. Little is known about Sienar Systems' workings with the Old Republic. The corporation dealt primarily with individual governments and the private sector, and did not have many contracts with the Old Republican Senate. Sienar Systems is very ancient and is believed to have been around since the time the space travel industry began.
Sienar Systems supplied the many worlds and people in the Old Republic with vessels for thousands of years, and there were few complaints about the ships' quality. It can thus be concluded that most of the company's customers were satisfied and that the company was successful in the Old Republic.
A century before the Battle of Yavin, the Sienars united with the Santhe family, who owned Santhe Security, due to an arranged marriage. Raith was the CEO for many years of SFS, but was killed in an assassination. Lady Valles Santhe of the Santhes took control of the company and operated it after the collapse of the Empire. She then created Sienar Army Systems when the Emperor was reborn in the body of a clone.

Products
During Imperial rule, Sienar mainly produced military vessels, but during the time of the Old Republic, it manufactured both military and civilian carriers. Sienar's military production favoured smaller cruisers and combat fighters, while the company's civilian vessels extended to anything that could be built for a profit. Freighters were always a big seller, as well as mining vessels and luxury space liners.
Sienar Systems was generally willing to deal with anyone its agents believed to be able to produce profitable business, even if such business aroused the displeasure of the company's other customers. For example, during The Clone Wars, Sienar Systems sold vessels to both the Old Republic and the C.I.S., drawing unwanted attention.
