Sky Two

- This article discusses the present "Sky Two" channel (formerly "Sky Mix"). For the defunct UK Sky channel of similar name, see Sky 2.
Sky Two (launched and branded as Sky One Mix until September 21 2004, and subsequently known as Sky Mix until October 31 2005) is a United Kingdom satellite television channel run by British Sky Broadcasting. A supplementary channel for Sky One, Sky Two shows repeats of programmes aired on that channel, hours or days after their original broadcast, allowing viewers to catch shows they may have missed on first-run. However, unlike other channels - such as LIVINGtv - which operate a +1 timeshift channel, Sky Two has a separate schedule, and has thus been described as a "timeshuffle" channel. The channel is broadcast on Sky Digital and NTL digital cable.
Image:Skymix.jpg The channel was rebranded in order to coincide with the launch of Sky Three. Sky 2 was a rather different channel which ran for only a short period of time on the analogue Sky service.
