Slaughter and the Dogs were an early British punk band in the late 1970s. They were closely associated with fellow Manchester band The Nosebleeds.

They released a single: "Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone?" in 1978.

They changed their name to Slaughter in the early 1980s, and changed their sound to heavy metal. They are not to be confused with later bands with the same name.
