Slit experiment

Image:Diffraction1.png In physics, there are many experiments which consist of shining light upon thin slits, and observing the wave behaviour of light past these slits:
- Single-slit experiments which lead to diffraction.
- Double-slit experiments which lead to interference, usually along with diffraction.
- Multiple-slit experiments which lead to complex patterns that is usually referred to as diffraction.Template:Optics-stub
