Social welfare

Social welfare may refer to:
- The overall welfare or well-being of a society.
- In economics, the utility of people considered in aggregate. (See Welfare economics and social welfare function.)
- The provision of a wide range of social services, for the benefit of individual citizens. This usage is closely related to the idea of the welfare state.
