Spanker

Spanker may refer to several things:

• A disciplinarian (often an educator) who spanks, i.e. administers a spanking (corporal punishment, notably on the buttocks) to a spankee (often a child over the lap or over the knee).
  • Hence a rare device solely used for spanking, as this model discharging an electric charge, created for U.S. Masonic lodge initiations.
• A spanker is a kind of sail on a sailboat.
• A Dutch sailboat designed by naval architect Van De Stadt.
• Spanker was the name of an 18th century famous thoroughbred race horse
• SS-17 Spanker is the NATO reporting name for the MR-UR-100 Sotka intercontinental ballistic missile.
