Springdale, Utah

Springdale is a village located in Washington County, Utah, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 457. It is located next to Zion National Park.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 12.0 km² (4.6 mi²). 12.0 km² (4.6 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 457 people, 192 households, and 120 families residing in the village. The population density was 38.1/km² (98.8/mi²). There were 228 housing units at an average density of 19.0/km² (49.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 91.90% White, 0.00% African American, 1.75% Native American, 0.66% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 4.81% from other races, and 0.88% from two or more races. 11.38% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 192 households out of which 17.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.6% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.5% were non-families. 24.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 2.88.
In the village the population was spread out with 19.7% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 26.0% from 25 to 44, 32.6% from 45 to 64, and 15.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 96.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $41,607, and the median income for a family was $51,500. Males had a median income of $34,063 versus $26,667 for females. The per capita income for the village was $25,593. 9.0% of the population and 8.3% of families were below the poverty line. 12.0% of those under the age of 18 and 12.3% of those 65 and older were living below the poverty line.
